How do We Recover from Racism?

John and Allen speak with author Steve Harris about his book Band-Aid: One Hundred Stories of Race in the Life of One African-American. Our conversation ranges from how Steve’s stories illustrate the ways in which he is regarded throughout his life more for his skin color than for who he, to Allen and John sharing their discomfort as white people being truthful in sharing their own issues, wrestling with the lies at the core of racism.
